SOFA Speaks Special Operations For America

image

Gary Stubblefield, Chairman of Special Operations For America and a 20+ year military veteran welcomes you to SOFA! SOFA is a Super PAC dedicated to recruiting, supporting, and getting military veterans elected into the House and Senate at the Federal Level. Just a few decades ago, many of our representatives had military experience and even full military careers before going into politics; whereas now only a minority percentage do. These earlier veterans understood national defense, security of our nation, and how to advise the government administration and departments on strategic and tactical considerations. They understood the value of keeping our promises with our military men, women, and families. We need to reinfuse our nation's military heroes back to elected offices in DC to strengthen our vital interests. If you wish to learn more about SOFA, please visit our website at SOFORAMERICA.org. And now let's begin today's program

Don Mazzella On Otto F. Warmbier 15 years prison sentence in North Korea

An American college student who tearfully apologized for trying to steal a political propaganda poster from his hotel in Pyongyang, the North Korean capital, was sentenced on Wednesday to 15 years of prison and hard labor.

The punishment of the student, Otto F. Warmbier, infuriated the White House and elicited strong condemnations from other officials and rights activists. It came amid rising tensions between North Korea and the United States over North Korea's unbridled nuclear weapons and missile testing.

What Justice Antonin Scalia’s Death Means

Gerard Haran talks with Gary about What Justice Antonin Scalia's Death Means. Antonin Scalia, the sharp-tongued U.S. Supreme Court justice who sought to limit constitutional protections to those envisioned by the nation's founders, has died. He was 79. Scalia was a polarizing force on the court and across the country. Scalia was the court's leading proponent of a strict interpretation of federal statutes, preferring to parse statutory language rather than sift through volumes of legislative history. He sought out bright lines in the law and criticized the multifaceted balancing tests used by colleagues.

Defeating the Islamic State

How can we protect against sleeper cells? What are they ways we could nix their communication? Is it possible to halt all communication between these terror groups?

The barbarism of the attacks in Paris and San Bernardino mark a new low in terror. The attacks were not directed against national symbols or government targets, but designed simply to kill innocent men, women and children. The murderers did not even bother to issue demands.

In the wake of the attacks, people rightly ask, what could France have done better? What could the United States have done better? And people are offering up various solutions regarding borders, visas, police procedures and the battle against ISIS in Iraq and Syria. Would this really have prevented these kind of attacks?
